Good Monday Morning! 🌨️Last week brought a total tech meltdown my way…as a result it was the first week in nearly two years that Market Watch went undelivered 🥺. I’m happy to say that we’re back on track! 🥰Sellers hoping to secure a contract before the New Year are evidently stepping up their game… It’s been a BUSY couple of weeks for price changes with 20 reductions this week and a whopping 26 the week before. 😳 This is nearly double the number of price improvements we saw during the same period last year. Could this be good news for buyers looking into 2025? Stay tuned in coming weeks to find out! In case you’re not sure what that means, it’s a listing status that we’ve seen a lot of these last two weeks. It means that the sellers are taking a break from being on market and will likely return - in this case probably after Christmas or the New Year, taking time to enjoy the holidays without the stress of having their homes show ready in the midst of celebrations.As expected, new listings were sluggish with 18, though on par with last year. Likewise we saw fewer than average homes sold - 18 as well - with 56% of those below asking and only 33% above. One Seekonk home closed $150K under a list price of $1,750,000.
